Kuala Lumpur, May 12 – Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn. Bhd., has on 11 May 2017accepted a Letter of Award with BCB Development Sdn. Bhd. , a subsidiary of BCB Berhad, for the main building works of the proposed development project known as Hometree – Phase 2 for a total contract sum RM207,362,500.00.

The construction works of the Project will take approximately 29 months from its scheduled commencement in May 2017 and is targeted for completion by September 2019.

The Project will comprise of one hundred and sixty-six (166) units of three storey semi-detached houses, ninety-nine (99) units of three storey bungalows and ancillary works on Lot PT142768 (Lot lama 140594), Persiaran Anggerik Oncidium, Seksyen 31, 40460 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

Kerjaya Prospek’s award of this premium landed development further strengthen the Group’s technical expertise as a solution provider not only in premium high-rise developments but also in the premium landed segment. The Group is confident that the Industrialised Building System (“IBS”) that has been such a great success in premium high-rise projects will also give them a competitive advantage when executing premium landed projects.  

 This project is Kerjaya Prospek’s second contract award for the year 2017 and brings the current outstanding orderbook to an impressive RM2.5 billion. 

 Last year, Kerjaya Prospek won RM1.58 billion worth of contracts despite a slow and challenging property market.

Commenting on the second project award for the year, Kerjaya’s Executive Chairman, Datuk Tee Eng Ho said, “This project awarded from BCB brings our year-to-date contract wins to RM239 million. This is our second project with BCB and I would like to thank them for their confidence in our ability to deliver projects within time, within budget and of high quality.”
