100 senior leaders will gather in Kuala Lumpur to examine how AI is being deployed across customer experience, sales and marketing; beyond pilots, demos and promises.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — 28 September, 2026 — ConverXion KL 2026 will return to Kuala Lumpur on 15 October, bringing together 100 senior business leaders to examine how artificial intelligence is moving from experimentation into real-world deployment across customer experience, sales and marketing.

Organised by Mimin and held at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, this year’s summit is built around a simple question: after years of AI promises, what is actually working?

Under the theme “AI in Action,” ConverXion KL 2026 will bring together business and technology leaders responsible for implementing AI inside their organisations to share practical applications, implementation decisions and lessons from the field.

Last year’s ConverXion explored the possibilities emerging around AI and how it could reshape the way businesses engage customers. In 2026, the conversation moves forward: from what AI could do to what organisations are already deploying, how those initiatives are being implemented, where AI is creating meaningful impact, and what businesses are learning along the way.

“The AI conversation has moved. Business leaders no longer just want to know what is possible; they want to understand what is working, how it was implemented, and whether it can be replicated,” said Joseph Simbar, CEO & Founder of Mimin. “That is the conversation we want ConverXion 2026 to create.”

From AI Possibility to Business Reality

The programme will examine AI through three practical lenses: execution, application and implication.

Discussions will look at how organisations move AI initiatives from concept to deployment, including implementation timelines and build-versus-buy decisions; where AI is already changing customer interactions and commercial processes; and what greater adoption means for areas such as trust, data privacy and the changing role of people in AI-enabled organisations.

Topics will include conversational AI, customer experience, omnichannel engagement, personalisation and loyalty, AI-powered sales and marketing, as well as AI ethics and data privacy.

The programme will also bring perspectives from multiple industries, giving leaders the opportunity to compare how AI adoption is unfolding across different operating environments rather than viewing transformation through a single technology or sector lens.

A Room Built Around Decision-Makers

Among the confirmed speakers are Chee Mun Foong, CEO of YTL AI Labs; Bernard Yong, CXO of Mah Sing Berhad; Dario Bianchi, CPO of Mindvalley; and Dr Devina Njoo, Patient Experience Director of EMC Healthcare, with additional speakers to be announced.

“What makes ConverXion valuable is not only the technology being discussed, but the people having the conversation,” said Bayu Eka Putra, COO & Co-Founder of Mimin.

“The people in the room are making decisions around customers, revenue, operations and transformation. That changes the discussion from simply asking what AI can do to understanding what businesses are actually doing with it.”

The 2026 edition builds on last year’s ConverXion KL, which attracted more than 150 delegates from over 40 Malaysian and regional organisations, with more than 20 speakers, 15 industries represented and 10 roundtable discussions.

For 2026, ConverXion will continue its combination of keynotes, fireside conversations, panel discussions and facilitated roundtables, giving delegates opportunities not only to hear perspectives from the stage but also to exchange experiences directly with peers.

ConverXion KL 2026 will take place on Thursday, 15 October 2026 at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral. Registration is available through converxion.io.
