Kuala Lumpur, May 11 – Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd, a Bursa Malaysia Main Market listed company involved in the construction, property development, logging & timber business, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd has on Tueday accepted an Extension of Contract from Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd (MASSB) with a contract value of RM5.5 million.
The extension is based on the scope of services as per the Original Contract dated 18 April 2014 from MASSB, for a period of one (1) year effective from 1 May 2017 until 30 April 2018.
Fajarbaru had on 29 April 2014 announced the Letter of Award from MASSB for the Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance for Visual Docking Guidance System contract at KLIA2, KL International Airport with a contract value of RM13.74 million.
The extension is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Fajarbaru for the financial year ending 30 June 2017 and 30 June 2018.
